Outside the Barclays Center loading dock on Dean Street, clustering trucks snag traffic, add hazards for pedestrians

Watch the video below posted this morning by a Prospect Heights resident. Several large delivery trucks cluster outside the Barclays Center loading dock on Dean Street between Flatbush and Sixth avenues, snagging traffic, and forcing pedestrians crossing Dean Street at Flatbush Avenue to weave through traffic.

It's more evidence that the arena's pledge to carefully coordinate deliveries and trucks hasn't exactly been upheld. (And this is *without* construction on the residential tower sites at southwest and southeast corners of the arena.)

People currently live on the south side of Dean Street, so this is quite disruptive. But lots more people are going to live in towers next to the arena. Remember, the original plan was for office towers to separate such uses.
